Flex XC 3401 VRG Polisher Review
The Flex XC 3401 VRG Dual Action Orbital Polisher comes with a combined rotary and orbital motion. This new Flex polisher offers the same level cutting performance as the Flex first generation rotary polisher, however without any risks. That’s huge!
The Flex XC 3401 polisher efficiently disperses frictional heat thanks to the dual action movement. There are slim chances of overheating and paint burning with the new Flex Polisher. As an auto detailer, I can tell you that the absolute wort thing you can do to clear coat while buffing is to burn it. This happens when you buff for too long or without the proper amount of compound.
Moreover, the Dual Action movement has been fit to eliminate hologram formations during the polishing process. The Flex Polisher simulates human hand circular movement when in action. Eliminating holograms and or swirls is a huge convenience! You are cutting the polishing stage in half and assuring the perfect finish.
The Flex XC 3401 VRG Dual-Action Orbital Polisher delivers a thorough and precise polish finishing that shines your paint and leaves a glass like finish. This machine along with the Griots Garage Boss orbital polisher is used in my shop for at least 50% of the car we buff, especially for vehicles with darker colored paint.
Darker colored paint shows every buffing imperfection and painting mistake, so it is important to use a machine that can properly polish out those mistakes and shine the paint.
How It Works – The Flex XC 3401 VRG Review
The Flex Polisher has a real drive that has a constant lift that ensures the polisher’s movement is precise under the load and that its techniques is uniform. The lengthy stroke works to eliminate existing holograms from black and other dark color finishes.
The Flex XC 3401 VRG Dual Action Orbital Polisher has a stroke length of 8mm, which is sizable for orbital polishers. Unlike its predecessor, you will not feel any jiggly motion when using this Flex Polisher. Now that’s comfort!

Comes with pretty sweet dual action motion!
When you apply pressure on the Flex Dual Action polisher, it keeps moving as the pad keeps heading in a pressured rotation.
The circular movement downs the vibration allowing the Flex Polisher to operate smoothly without jiggling!
The orbital drive ensures that minimal heat develops on the top making the polisher ideal for sensitive temperature finishes. Users can control speed and acceleration thanks to the acceleration trigger and the rate selection features. This makes it easy to start off slowly in order to spread that dang compound that shoots everywhere if you spin too quickly.
How It’s Built –
The Flex XC 3401 VRG Review
The Flex XC 3401 VRG Dual Action Polisher features a microprocessor (seven-fold). The microprocessor delivers constant speed kept running by a soft start, tachometer generator, and a trigger accelerator switch.
The Polisher is equipped with restart protection which comes in handy for temperature monitoring, power interruption, speed selection and overload protection.
It’s also equipped with shut-off carbon brushes, and when they wear down, the motor shuts off automatically avoiding any damage.
The adjustable handle is mounted on the polishers’ top, and the speed control is located on the side of the polisher making handling and operating the machine comfortable and convenient.
The speed trigger allows users to accelerate and decelerate the speed while using the Flex Polisher.
The Flex XC Dual-Action Orbital Polisher is a professional grade polisher. Perfectly made for comfortable use and eliminates any scratches, swirls, and other paint defects.
